Who says that digital scrapbooking is just for women? Gentlemen’s Quarterly takes you to days gone by with it’s love of weathered looking things, it’s darker tones of black, maroon, beige and green telling us that this is a man’s job before we ever lay a picture down. Mustaches, beer life byte cards, metal and newspaper flowers are all reminders that this kit is about being part of the boy’s club, Scrapping those pictures of Grandpa, or the ones you took of the guys talking that they didn’t see you take, or father and son moments, all would work with this clever kit!

With All My Heart expresses those tender moments perfectly with rosy pinks, gentle beiges and velvety browns. Fragile lace bits in many of the flowers, as well as on it’s own as an element balance out the strong metal charms that say “You Are Loved”, and the alpha. CU Paper Textures Vol. 2

Have you ever made your own papers? If you have not, here is your chance to learn! It’s fun! A little like a party game. First you would open one of these fantastic textures. Create a new layer above your texture layer. Fill the new layer with a color. Adjust the blend mode of the color layer until you are happy with the result. You also could try using multiple color layers at different blend modes for a more specific look. Save as a .jpg with a new name and that’s it. Party Prize: You made a paper! Also don’t forget the super fun SPEED SCRAP! On Saturday! Everyone loves a speed scrap! This one is being held in in the new (yay!) If you are looking for a great Christmas kit to scrap some of your holiday memories then look no further! Susan Godfrey Designs has released an incredibly festive Christmas kit that is sure to fill any holiday voids in your stash! I was immediately drawn to this kit because if the traditional Christmas color palette that Susan used for it. It is hard to find a lot of traditional holiday color palettes lately. I know that when you go to the store and look in the holiday aisles you see a lot of nontraditional colors like bright pinks and the like. While I adore nontraditional colors as well, it just doesn't feel like Christmas to me without that red and green. Susan certainly picked the perfect shades for this kit! Add in the awesome assortment of elements and you have for an incredible kit! Take a look at the kit and a layout that I made using it! The kit spoke to me so much that I opted to make a calendar page so that I could look at it's awesomeness all month long! Hehe.

DSA Enabler with featured layout!

The new issue of The Enabler from Digi Scrap Addicts has been released! I contributed some layouts for this month's designers and one of my layouts was featured on their blog today! The featured designer is Micheline Martin, and I just adore her designs! The kit that is featured in this month's The Fix is gorgeous! It is called "Kissing Booth" and has lots of newspaper/print papers and elements, which I just love! Here is a peek at the layout that I made and you can check out the feature HERE on their blog!

On The Border Templates from A Fish Design

A new set of templates just hit the store at Scraps N Pieces from A Fish Design!  They are called On the Border Templates. These 4 templates have Big, Bold borders.  They each have 3 photo spots and lots of "white" space.  But they can be changed up by twisting, or turning them.  You can also add to or subtracting things from them.
